
Ofsted Success - 'This is a good school'!
Following the inspection on 12th and 13th June we'd like to say how delighted and proud we are of all members of the school community. Thank you to all those who contributed to our school's success over the last three years. Here are some highlights from the report.

Pirate Day
Ahoy there shipmate! Tuesday 12th June was Pirate Day for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. There was a great deal of excitement as everybody arrived dressed as pirates and lots of shouts of “Shiver me timbers” and “Walk the plank” amongst other pirate phrases. Hola Mexico
Hola! Class 4 have really embraced the cultures of Mexico as part of this term's topic. On Monday the children cooked a range of Mexican dishes including refried beans, Chicken Chili, home-made Tortillas, Quorn Burritos and Guacamole. Working as teams, the children each produced a different dish, which we then all tasted. We decided that whilst Mexican food might not look the most exciting, it certainly tasted delicious! We've All Been To The Zoo Today ...
Class 3 visited Twycross Zoo this week as part of their new topic on Predators. A good day was had by all. The children wrote recounts of the visit and took lots a photos - a few of which they'd like to share with you.
