Class 3 had a fantastic time walking down to the river - rying to catch a glimpse of Ratty, Moley or those pesky Matlock crocodiles.
The children explored all the different types of human and physical geography by the river. We investigated the different structures built along-side the river and saw the impact that humans have had on the local river system.
As a class we took part in some team building games whilst enjoying the autumnal sunshine. They all worked so hard to ensure everyone got across the ‘river’ safely. We then wandered down to the riverbank once again and began some observational drawings.
It was a complete joy to be joined by some parents for a picnic in the park before returning to school. What a fantastic day!
