Being a Good Friend

This week in PSHE, Class 1 children have been learning ‘What makes a good friend’.

Firstly we watched ‘The Friendship Code’ on BBC Bitesize which helped us with our initial ideas.

Then we shared our ideas and worked together to produce our own ‘Friendship code.’

Year 1 children drew around their hands, cut them out and then wrote one of the things they thought made a good friend. They decorated them with colours and patterns.

Reception children sat together, helped each other and made friendship bracelets using beads and pipe cleaners. They then gave them to their friends.
