  • January newsletter

    Thu 12 Jan 2023 Mr. O'Connell

    Hello,

    It has been lovely to welcome the children and staff back to St. Giles this week. It has been a busy first week, but I've been thoroughly impressed with how well all of our children have settled back into the routine of learning. I've also really enjoyed spending more time in school whilst Mr. Williams is taking paternity leave. I'm sure you'll join me in passing on congratulations to the family following the birth of their baby son.

    Our latest newsletter is now available online and can be accessed via our school website: www.stgilesceprimarymatlock.co.uk/newsletters/

    Our latest newsletter includes information about:

    • Online Safety including a workshop for parents;
    • Relationship and Sex education: we've shared our draft policy and our draft curriculum summary. We'd welcome your views!
    • Parents’ Forum
    • A reminder about arrangements in case the weather takes a turn for the worst.
    • Some of the exciting things happening in school this term.

    Thank you for your continued support for the children, staff and one another. We hope you have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you all next week.

    Many thanks,

    Mr. O'Connell
