Nursery Fees
At St. Giles CE Primary and Nursery School, we are committed to offering an affordable, high-quality nursery experience that supports every child’s development and prepares them for a smooth transition into primary education.
We proudly support the government’s initiative to provide 15 hours of free early years education for all 3 and 4-year-olds. This entitlement begins from the term after a child’s third birthday and covers 15 hours per week (570 hours per year) over 38 weeks.
Since September 2017, eligible families may access up to 30 hours of funded childcare per week (1,140 hours per year) for children aged 3 and 4.
To check your eligibility and apply for extended funding, please visit the Derbyshire County Council website.
If your family does not meet the criteria for the 30-hour offer, you may still access extra sessions beyond the universal 15 free hours. These are available at a cost of:
£21.00 per session (3 hours at £7.00 per hour)
This applies to either a morning or afternoon session.
We aim to be flexible and supportive of your childcare needs while maintaining our commitment to high standards of early years education. Please see our Nursery Fees Policy for more information st-giles-nursery-fees-policy.pdf
