Parent surveys

Working with our parents

 

We regularly undertake planned surveys as we look to make sure we help all of our children 'achieve through adventure'. 

 

Parents are welcome to complete Ofsted's 'ParentView' survey which is continually available to the community. The link to this can be found at the bottom of the page.

 

How do we use the outcomes of parental feedback?

Leaders share the anonymous outcomes of any survey with governors and with staff so that we can make our school an even better place to be for pupils and parents. Parents’ suggestions are gratefully received and are actively considered .

 

What has changed as a result of surveys?

  • We've introduced termly newsletters for each class to help ensure all parents are better informed about what their child/ren are learning.
  • We've introduced termly report cards to make sure all parents are better informed about children's attainment.
  • We've redesigned our behaviour policy to further improve support and consistency.  

 

Next steps and our Parents' Forum

We continue to look forward to working with parents during our Parents' Forum, to further improve provision at St. Giles and ensure our children have the very best education and start in life.

  • Ofsted Parent View Ofsted Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think of your child’s school, including: - how happy your child is at the school - how the school manages bullying or challenging behaviour If your child has special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), we will ask how well the school supports them. The questionnaire can be completed at any time - you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.
