At St Giles, the wellbeing of our pupils is very important. We believe that listening to children and involving them in decisions about their own wellbeing helps everyone feel valued, supported and cared for.
Our St Giles Wellbeing Team are special friends for all the children in school. They make sure everyone has someone to talk to and help all children feel included. The team also look after our buddy bench and lead fun and relaxing activities on the playground, such as jigsaws, turn-taking games, mindful colouring, reading together in the library and mindfulness yoga at lunchtimes. Through these activities and support, our Wellbeing Team help to create a kind, caring and happy school community where every child can feel heard, safe, included and confident.
