Starting School

Starting school is an exciting time for you and your child. We hope the information below will help in preparing you for this new chapter.

 

For children starting school in September 2024 we have planned four SCHOOL OPEN SESSIONS on the following dates:

 

Friday 22nd September 1.30pm until 3.00pm

Tuesday 26th September 9.30am until 11.00am

Tuesday 17th October 1.30pm until 3.00pm

Thursday 26th October 4.30pm until 6.00pm

 

There will be a tour of the school and an opportunity to talk to our Early Years Leader and Teacher. If you are unable to make any of these dates please contact the school office and we will try and arrange for you to visit at another time.

 

In the summer term prior to your child starting school there will be transition visits and a new starters meeting for parents. Further details of these events will be published later in the school year. These visits are invaluable in helping children settle quickly into school in September.
