PICTURE NEWS WORSHIP

 

 

Every Thursday Picture News is our Class Worship. Often this is led by our Worship Team with the support of their class teacher.

 

Picture News encourages children to think about what’s going on in the world, their impact and what role they can play in making the world a better place.

 

These worships provide opportunities for children to learn from our world and develop respect for other’s beliefs, feelings and faiths. They encourage exploration, discussion, challenge and inspire children to learn!

 

It encourages children to reflect on current issues in the news and every week there is a link to our Fundamental British Values of:

 

Tolerance and Respect

Rule of Law

Mutual Respect

Democracy

 

To finish our worships we choose a ‘big question’ which can be used to challenge thinking and lead to meaningful discussions for us to reflect upon.
