Dear Parents and Carers
We have shared a letter today which contains details of our plans for Sports Day on Friday afternoon. You can find this under 'Newsletters'.
A reminder that children should come to school tomorrow and Friday in their P.E Uniform.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday and we hope the weather will be kind to us!
Hello,
It’s been a lovely busy time at school with a heady combination of trips, rehearsals (it’s lovely to hear both the children and the staff sing with such joy!), transition events as well as lots of successful sporting events. Hopefully you have been able to catch up with your children’s life at school via the blogs which are available via the links on our website or via our Facebook page.
We have shared details of our class structure and staffing news today. You can find a copy of our letter on our newsletter page.
I hope you all enjoy your weekend and look out for a further letter next week with details about:
Our planned Sports Day, next Friday at 1:30 p.m. (The School Council were eager to share the programme of events with their class mates today!)
RSE Information session for parents.
Our final Parents’ Forum of the year.
Details of the Oscar winning production which our children in Class 4 are working hard on.
Phew! It’s all set to be a busy and happy end of term!
Many thanks

Hello all,
Many thanks to Miss. James-Justice and Mrs. Watkins for leading our workshop this morning about the upcoming Phonics Screening check in Year 1. It was lovely to welcome parents into our library.
The short presentation is available online (at the bottom of this page: LINK).
Don't forget: you can find lots more information about supporting early reading at home under: Curriculum/English/Phonics
Many thanks,
Mr. O'Connell
FRIDAY 10TH MARCH UPDATE
Good morning,
Due to the heavy snow across the local and wider area, combined with the poor driving conditions, our school will be closed today for all children.
As you can appreciate many staff travel into school and, despite best preparations, are snowed in, and unable to travel into school. This means that we are unfortunately unable to safely open our school site, unable to provide catering and unable to provide safe staffing levels.
Staff from school will be sharing some available learning by mid morning (10:30 a.m.) which children can access to help them practise key skills such as reading. We've no doubt that there will be time to enjoy the unusual heavy snow.
Many thanks for your time and continued support.
Mr. O'Connell
